Re: New Orleans Saints a potential landing spot for Robert Griffin III
The Saints just spent millions, with millions more in future salary cap penalties, to get rid of locker room problems. Now we are supposed to think that they will step right back into the mess? That's like going to your doctor and asking if he can give you cancer.
Why don't we trade Sneed or Anthony or Breaux to the Browns for Manziel. Yea, that's the ticket. |

Why..why in the world would this even be a thought to anyone. What good is an option QB to Payton?? This seems sketchy.

The kid has talent but not at 16 million a year. Under SP he may get out of the funk he has been in since 2013. I would like him to compete if he was around 5 million a year. Of course that is only if someone has a brain fart and we trade Drew. I would much rather have Hoyer or Fitzpatrick in a trade. Give me one of those 2 qbs with a rd 1 and 3 and I may be sold.

Only if we also hire a spread coach and get Tebow to back him up. Way too risky, no NFL GM is going to down that road.
A better fit for RG3 is Tennessee to backup Mariota. |

He's broke up, battered & bruised. Didn't his own O line almost get him killed? Coach killer? Prima donna? I think he is a hit away from watching on the couch .

Re: New Orleans Saints a potential landing spot for Robert Griffin III
From what I've seen...
Grayson > Griffin While its true I think Payton could help RG3, I don't think RG3 can help the Saints. He's just not the kind of QB that would excel under Payton. It would be kinda fun to see what could happen though. Fig Newton went from bad passer to a pretty good pocket passer this year, so why couldn't RG3? |
