I don't believe the defense is that bad. Allen isn't the answer. But I want the offense to be intimidating again and Brees to be a four down qb. The offensive line needs improvement but I don't trust Cooks, Watson, and Snead to carry the offense. There needs to be one more major weapon. And also we need a back, Ingram gets hurt every year and Robinson is not a number one RB, he does not play well with volume and he also gets hurt. We haven't had a consistent 100 yards a game rusher in a while.

I do! They're bad and they're inconsistent. You're right, Allen is not the answer.

We gave RR three years; unless Wade Phillips becomes available I won't complain if the Saints make Allen the DC next year.

No, they aren't "that" bad, they simply "are" bad. I think if we have say, the 15th ranked defense we win 11+ games…although the offense does have some deficiencies, it's the defense that's the issue, simply put. Now, I do like seeing some new blood on the field, hopefully we can find a handful of young dudes that can be good professionals and get better. What we need is coaches who can coach young and/or mediocre players to make them better. Patriots seem to do it every year…..

We have the pieces on defense except pass russh. We need a dc for the talent to show. But Brees needs help. The schedule is tough next year for the offense and Cooks can't outplay those corners. If we don't get a wide receiver we won't turn it around. Defense will make plays and Brees will go 3 and out. When are we gonna blow teams out again?
