We could go 2-14 on a season, as long as we sweep the Falcons...

I'd like to have put Grayson in and start letting Drew heal, recover, but...

Might as well finish it out with a win because we're not going to get in the Top 10 picks...

If Laquon Treadwell has a monster game, it makes selecting him less likely...

Reggie Ragland has been the beneficiary of some great line play, I'd love to pair him with Anthony in a 3-4...

Hopefully tonight isn't the last time we see Treadwell playing in the Super Dome! ; )

Sugar Bowl Update...

WR Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss, 6' 2", 210 lbs had six (6) receptions for seventy-two (72) receiving yards and THREE (3) TOUCHDOWNS!!!

Oh, Treadwell also threw a forty-five (45) yard pass...

On the season, coming off a major knee injury the previous season, Treadwell's numbers are:

Games - 12

Receptions - 76

Rec Yds - 1082

Touchdowns - 8

While not as big as Colston, and that'll be missed at times, Treadwell has the same sure hands and as large a catch radius; how much that former injury will shorten LT's productive cycle in the NFL is also a concern taking when taking him in the first round; Treadwell though is known for his versatility (yes, he can throw the ball) as he's an excellent downfield blocker and he's very combative going up for jump balls; now, if we fall to the fourteenth (14) or further selection, chances of getting a shot to select him seem less likely, though we're still very early in the draft selection process...

Another possible first round pick is WR Michael Thomas, Ohio State, 6' 3" 210 lbs; against Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl, Thomas caught seven (7) balls for seventy-two (72) yards and a touchdown against Notre Dame; scouts like to remark that Thomas has good bloodlines as the nephew to Keyshawn Johnson (personally, that concerns me), but of greater concern was how he disappeared at times during the Buckeyes year...

Thomas is considered "pro-ready" and already a proto-typical NFL possession receiver...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

If Tredwell is off the board or the saints do not pick him I say go late round to add to the WR corp. I am not all that impressed with the depth at WR so far in the draft.

Picking #12

Must improve that anemic pass rush.

My top choice is Robinson DE/DT from Alabama.

He commands double teams (see MICH ST game) but somehow seems to get involved down in the trenches. We need a player like this to anchor our D line.

Put another lazy eye on this kid next Monday night vs Clemson.
