More patient than me, Danno. I have told him and others exactly the same thing dozens of times over the past couple of years. Either they are too dense to understand or too distracted by their misguided thoughts to care.

If we must go into the season with a 30 million cap hit I would still do it. But, I would much rather extend him 2 more years. That gives us 3 more years which would take Brees to retirement with the passing yards record. If he is not worth his 3rd year then cut him. Eat the cap hit for 1 year. Our cap problems will be fixed by then.
