2016 NFL Draft
Just ran a mock on Fanspeak, and here's who I drafted
Round 1: Jaylon Smith - OLB - Notre Dame - basically solves our other OLB problem, since Ellerbe can't stay healthy. Smith does just about everything right Round 2: Cody Whitehair - OG - Kansas State - arguably the top OG prospect (or Vadal Alexander). Can step right in and play from day 1 and upgrade our guard spot immediately Round 3: Carl Nassib - DE - Penn State - led the NCAAF in sacks this year. Can get after teh QB. Needs to work on some pass rush moves, but could pair opposite Cam Round 4: Sheldon Day - DT - Notre Dame - good interior disruptor, quick off the snap. Has a history of injuries, and that could be why he fell to the 4th, plus a little undersized at 285lbs. But, if healthy, will give us some push up the middle Round 5: Roberto Aguayo - K - Florida State - FINALLY, our kicking woes are solved! Round 7: Keyarris Garrett - WR - Tulsa - led the NCAAF in receiving yards, stands 6'3 and weighs around 220 lbs. Didn't have a lot of TD receptions (8) on the year, but hard not to take a flyer on him. Colston 2.0? Fanspeak's On the Clock NFL Mock Draft Simulator |
