It's no secret that the New Orleans Saints organization has been in a downward spiral over the last three seasons. Certainly injuries to key players, such as QB Drew Brees, along with offensive line and defensive secondary players, have been costly to the team's overall performance. Yet, injuries are part of the game and to be expected.

Players accept the fact that they will need to play with some form of pain during their NFL careers. In fact, some players believe that if they don't hurt, then they're not performing up to their potential.

Needless to say, this mind set is a small part of a bigger debilitating condition that has afflicted the Saints organization and their performance.

Known as Saintsitis, this highly, infectious condition quickly spread to Saints players, which was quite evident in the recent home loss to the Lions. Saints players couldn't even line up in the correct formation much less look like a cohesive unit on the field – a typical symptom of this plague.

Re: Saintsitis

So players are able to play but don't want to because they hurt?

So this Saintsitis was in existence and then infected Saints players, perhaps because it was infectious. Oh ok.
Why was it called Saintsitis before that?

Re: Saintsitis

I love reading articles that are actually sponsored content for a quack. "Asia I quote from my book..." is one of the douchiest moves I've seen.

Re: Saintsitis

OMG! How quick the bandwagon media writers go from super bowl to toilet bowl in such a short time.

It is obvious this guy fell asleep at half time. He missed the entire second half of the Lions game. The defense came out and applied Allen adjustments. The saints bounced back and actually made a game out of it.

5 to 1 says this idiot had ROB Ryan as the next coming for 3 years straight. To blind to the 666 on Robs belly

I read these fools for laughs
