Clairfy... because if we let Sean go... someone is going to snag him the next day. SO technically it isn't his last game. I think Brees has another year or two and we are in no position to get rid of him.

I think this might be it for Payton. Loomis has given him permission to talk to other teams. Depending on where he goes, we might end up sending him and Brees together as a package. I'm intrigued by a trade for Payton, but I'm afraid of the future without those two.

So where exactly has it been written that Loomis gave Payton permission to talk to other teams? I have seen nothing stating this.

only if a team is willing to mortgage their future. Then another team needs to do the same. If one goes they both might as well go.
