When you really think about it...the Vikes did the very best thing..in the long run...to help thier team overall... They free up major cap space...get a quality LB..and now have an extra 2 picks...one of which is very high...and can now..effectively begin to plug some gaping holes in the D.. McCombs went out with a bang....I could only hope that Benson would steal a page out of that book...a.s.a.p. It will undoubtedly be a very bitter pill for most Vikes fans to swallow...but..it was neccesary...like it or not... |
