I wonder if he drank one of Jerry's favorite bottles of wine last night when Jerry's plane was spotted on the tarmac? Maybe this helped make up his mind...

Unfortunately I have a feeling he is going to cancel it and the agony train of speculation will extend possibly into the weekend.

My buddy that I have my season tickets with, he has a wife and kids and a demanding job and a real busy life, more than I do. So I told him to just do his thing, and I would monitor the Payton situation for the both of us, and I'd text him and let him know immediately, the minute if anything broke. I'm regretting that now. I've been in agony following this thing!

Is it odd for a coach to have a press conference that he is leaving and going some where else? I mean usually the team / GM / Owner, has the presser.

That's why I think he's not going anywhere. Probably got a pay raise out of it.

I don't think it is about much. Probably just publicly apologizing to Dan Quinn for almost getting him fired.
