Given the surgery in December was simply for a torn hip labrum, this surgery is most likely related cleanup perhaps removing spurs and/or debris that may have caused the tear in the first place. It's not like he suffered a torn ligament or hamstring, which are both FAR more problematic. His first surgery was for a sports hernia which is also not a long term problem.
Some people freak out so badly when they hear the word, but most surgery's improve a person's well-being and are as minor as getting your teeth cleaned.
