Also I think he has matured a bit. I do like the fact that he loves the game, before I couldn't stand the guy but now that I am forced to watch him, he just loves football.

Matured a bit? Did you even watch the game in the Superdome this year? He was mixing it up with the Saints players pregame, interrupting them as they practiced. He's apparently allowed to because "he's having fun out there." The guy has been spoiled all his life.

If we had a guy do the same stunt no one would care...

Joe Horn was the closest thing to Newton and I didn't like his behavior when he got a TD or a long gain. So I don't expect to have it both ways. I don't want it both ways.

Going further, what off the field issues has he had? He isn't like Johnny football getting into trouble. Cam Jordan has had more issues than Cam Newton; so when we talk about maturity you need to have a clear understanding of what that is.

Obviously him stealing laptops and his dad attempting to bribe college teams with more than $100,000 are the first things that come to mind regarding his off the field issues.

But who cares. Go love the guy. I can't stand him and his over inflated ego.
