How are we gonna react to Carolina winning the sb?
 

Not only that, but the fact that the NFC has rotated divisions at a time. The west represented for three straight seasons. Now the south is it. If we do not go to the sb, Brees better be able to play in 2019 or 2020.

After the south, it will Green Bay's turn to go back. Followed by the NFC East where Dallas is due. Then Seattle again gets another turn and maybe more than 1.

So if Carolina wins, we better react. 2018 is not a option sorry.

Win or lose, priority #1 for the Saints is to improve the offensive line and the defense this offseason

Now for me, I'll just turn off the tv like it didn't happen. This year I'm watching the game for the commercials only

I hate Cam. He is number one on a very short list for me.
BUT, no one can deny that he has played beyond even the MVP level. His receivers are Cotchery (age 53), Tedd Ginn, Jr (dropping passes on his 5th diff team) and something named Philly Brown.
Not sure what their FA situation is, but they don't appear to have too many holes. And at WR they have Benjamin coming back

They will not beat Denver. Denver shut down the Pats which has a NFL top 3 offense. They will destroy scam newton.

Carolina can't play any better with Benjamin back than they already have. Carolina also played an easy schedule this year. And I would think Benjamin makes them more predictable and Benjamin was a 50/50 big play receiver. Cam had to spread it around which made them unpredictable. Ginn Jr see how he will do with less targets and time on the field. He's a volume guy.

I said on some other thread that they are overrated. I guess I was wrong but I still cant stand them. I like Manning and I am definitely rooting for him but Carolina has been blowing teams out. This isn't good.

Its a copycat league but in this case, what they have done this year is one of the oldest cliche in football. Defense wins championships. Denver's D has carried them throughout the season. Carolina, to an extent, is the same with one exception, Newton. There offense is almost old school, establish the run control the tempo. Newton is there X factor because of his athletic ability which makes there option plays work so well. Opposing teams are so scared of him running, if a DB peeks in the backfield and Newton acts like he is gonna run, they bite on it and then the receiver is wide open. No one this year has figured out how to defend them. The formula seems easy but no can do it.

So as far as what we do about it if they win, I say we do the same thing we have been trying to do. Get some damn defense!! Payton knows the answer to get us where we want to go. You can see the envy from him when he was on ESPN Sunday. We have to build up the front 7 by all means necessary.

I too dislike Newton. I hate the dancing after every first down and how he intentionally uses it and his posing antics to taunt defenses. Now don't get me wrong, I dislike any player that dances and is a "me" player with rehearsed and non-spontaneous acts. It's self glorification and nothing more. I didn't like any player on the Saints that did this. Joe Horn was an idiot for his personal antics. I hated when Lance Moore would dance after scoring or first downs. Even Cooks' archer shot bugs me. This is a team sport not a personal glorification exhibition. Act like a professional. This is why I like guys like Colston and Brees. There is no clown act to go with the sport.

Best photo is when all the Carolina players took that dab photo and Olsen is standing in the back disgusted with these idiots. Newton is a joke or a person and when things aren't rosy is when we see the true colors of this self important player. Winning cures every flaw with players.

While you have to give him credit for performing this year. Its getting easier and easier to pass in the league due to all the rule changes. My dislike is based on the three previous years of acting a child when they didn't win and it always being somebody elses fault.

I use to have dislike him but this year with giving the TD ball's to the kids is kind of special.

Its ok for him to have some fun as long as he is winning!

I hope Manning gets another ring but I hope for a good game overall.

Are you even a Saints fan? I have never met a Saints fan that likes Scam Newton. The guy is a scum bag with the maturity level of a 12 yr old. He is Josh Freeman 2.0 and will be out of the league in 5 years. Maybe you should find a Panthers site since you have wet dreams about scam.

Also I think he has matured a bit. I do like the fact that he loves the game, before I couldn't stand the guy but now that I am forced to watch him, he just loves football.

Matured a bit? Did you even watch the game in the Superdome this year? He was mixing it up with the Saints players pregame, interrupting them as they practiced. He's apparently allowed to because "he's having fun out there." The guy has been spoiled all his life.

As Saints players were warming up and stretching, Cam was running straight through their warmups. The guy is an a##hole and the rest of the NFL are in love with him.

I totally agree. Didn't watch them at all until the playoffs and I love that football to the kids thing. I don't get it. People ***** about the No Fun League then start hating and throwing around the immature word when somebody actually does have fun???

Colorado just passed a law that any Carolina fans in the state will have their homes confiscated and lose all of their hair (some kind of imminent rogaine thing) so I'll be rooting for Denver, but....

Who gives a **** at this point? Our season's over and nothing's going to put us back into the playoffs so kick back and just enjoy some football from some teams that actually understand how to play and coach their defenses.
