Tell us something we don't know

After 4 years, even those who realize how flawed it was in terms of ignoring all of the other teams, still don't realize how little evidence there was to even say there was a legitimate bounty to begin with.

Sure, players want to hit as hard as they can, and there is an intent to "rough up" the opposition. That's the game. But a bounty system? I asked it then and I'm still wondering today... Where were the injuries in association with the players on the supposed list?

Favre was the only QB that we seriously hurt during the year, that I can remember, and I don't think his name was even on the ledger. So a 40 year old QB gets knocked around and injured, and we're supposed to assume it was intentional? Where was Roger when the Bucs screwed up Drew's shoulder this year? Since we know injuries apparently don't happen to QB's without direct intent. People will not admit this.

I love that one of the teams with the least penalty flags was going out to injure people. Either the failed in getting the players on a bounty or its all BS

look the players voted down lifetime health insurance for more money so they except the risk of their profession. So all these rule changes have less to do with safety than making more money, The NFL competition committee is only trying to compete with all the other pro sports about profit. Throwing all these flags for sneezing on a WR is stupid enough as it is with out bring up the automatic first down with almost each and every one.

So Roger is getting away with murder and using bogus and vague charges against teams as a distraction to get away with it.

Roger is the worse thing that has happened to the NFL in the history of the game.

Move on? Not until there's a reckoning and Goodell's head is mounted on a wall in New Orleans...

That phony lectured us about the integrity of the shield then colluded with Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, general manager Ozzie Newsome and others and failed to disclose, essentially lie about the full scope of Ray Rice's Elevator Extravaganza...

There was no accountability except the continued cash flow to the owners which makes all complicit...

Anytime I hear BS about the integrity of the shield, I feel the urge to vacate...

The fans of New Orleans were disenfranchised and defrauded and there should be a reckoning of accountability for it...

I can not believe that the owners didn't hold Goodell accountable for that mess.

It put the kibosh on any success the Saints might've had for four years (so far) and I believe that Payton is not the same coach as he was after being forced out of the league for a year.

Why would they, and i include Benson in that. He took one for the team (owners) allowed them to look like they cared about the players and the all important upcoming legal case

The defense would of put a stop to the successful run, do you really think they would of used those lost picks correctly? SBJ anyone

IMO none of this happens if the Saints lose to the Vikings or the player lawsuits. The league got backed into a corner and they decided to use a small market team as the scapegoat for them making the game safer. Think about it, the Packers had been told to stop a known bounty program in 2007 and Giants players said they trageted the 49ers punt returner who had PCS in the 2011 NFCCG. No way they would go after those two teams
