Kevin Zeitler is possible about 10 million a year. Bengals up against the cap wall

Mike Glennon QB Tampa Bay - i forgot he was a free agent this year. he might be a very hot item on the FA market. i remember the saints showed interest in him in the past.

A.J. Klein MLB/OLB Carolina - would be a nice steal. fits that smart multi positional LB who appears ready to step out from the shadows and become a starter else where. playing behind Luke Kuechly, Shaq Thompson and Thomas Davis does not lend itself to much playing time. When he does he does a solid job any where they put him. I always like the guy back to his college days.

Brynden Trawick S Oakland Raiders - a back up sure but a true special team demon.

Yikes! So that leaves us with Moore, Webb and Harris against the Failclowns. Maybe Calhoun gets called up from the practice squad with Dixon being signed recently by another team. Most of them will be free agents after this game so let's see who shows that they want to be here.

Another corner back down ? What are they doing in practice drills? I understand all teams have injuries but the Saints seem to have more than most at the position.

Apparently it seems as though the Saints practice field is field with pot holes!!

That is the problem teaching rugby to a football player. There are a lot of habits that aren't effective or allowed in rugby. It's probably harder than going from LT to a pulling RG to learn new techniques while not implementing ingrained habits. Incidentally wider receivers, linebacker's, tight ends and athletic defensive ends make the better transition from football.

Probably. He could be had for around 8.5/year with more guaranteed money.

Mike Glennon or even Brian Hoyer would be great signings, upgrades behind Brees.

What would we spend on a 2-down thumper? Rather upgrade our coaching at LBer first.

I'd go after RFA Kiko Alonso and give up the 2nd round tender. We should've scooped up ILB Jordan Tripp before the Packers did - he also will be a RFA.

Like the idea of letting our Safeties come back healthy (and from suspension) and letting another rookie come in and make Byrd and his contract expendable...

We can then use the money on Vaccaro among other positions...

Now, if we do need a short-term rental at Safety, how's Seattle's FS Jeron Johnson, Carolina's Colin Jones or even getting Raph Bush back at around 1.5 to 2 mil per year?
