Rugs, check the posts, the Saints coaches, specifically Dennis Allen is not happy with his play nor his ability to grasp what they want from Stephone Anthony...

But you got it right at the end, it's the coaching; I'm always wary of coaching that says things like "he's not adapting to what we want from him" when football is not rocket science - "see ball, get ball."

We've got another wannabe Belichick who's going the Rob Ryan route of writing an Grande Opus for a defensive playbook...

If we drafted Peat in the first round with the intention of making him the next starter at RT and he ends up being the starter at LG for a bunch of years I will be happy with that too.
Guards are so important that they warrant first round picks.

In my mind, an ideal first round pick should play right away, be at a ProBowl level by their third year and with really good offensive players (e.g. QB, WR, OL) stay with the organization 8-10 years...

I wonder if there is a rift between DA and Anthony like there was with Lewis?

I watch Peat and I just do not thing the kid can swing and we may not want him to. Keep him at LG and get him use to the talent he will face at the pro level maybe the smart move.

Terron has this lingering injury issue in the past few years that has me concerned. Peat maybe asked to step in at LT for a couple of games every year from here on out.

Great training to eventually take over.

Time to rebuild the right side of the line in FA and/or the draft. Which is a heck of a lot cheaper than the left.

I would agree but the world is very seldom ideal so if you can get a solid starter that's pretty good too.

Hope Katz will ask that question, Larry Holder only talks about himself...
