Robertson is easily our best free agency signing this year; PFF has said Nick Fairley was our best deal this year, but I've seen more of an impact from Robertson than any other free agent on defense...

Absolutely!

I like the way Fairley's contract was set up too. $3million, down from $5million the Rams paid him last year, but with built in incentives.

250,000 each for 45, 55, 65% of snaps
$250,000 each for 4, 5.5, 7 sacks
35% of snaps + 4 sacks: $250,000

If he hits all the incentives, he makes $4.75 million. That would be the best season of his career for less than he was making last year.

But Robertson has got to be the deal of the offseason. $1.7 mil, down from $2.3 million the Browns were paying him and he's on pace for over 120 tackles. That would be double his best year with the Browns. He's clearly been the best linebacker we've put on the field this year.

This is the man (Robertson) that we should be signing to an extension...
