Ever wonder why Strief graded out so well all season, and Evans graded poorly? Perhaps Strief wasn't as bad as you think, and Jahri was pretty aweful. |

Re: Jahri Evans released
Oh yes he was. He nearly got Brees killed, especially in the Tampa game when his shoulder was injured. We have Strief to thank for that. We very nearly lost Brees, permanently. I don't think he should be cut but I also don't think he should be starting either. I don't care what his grade was, he's just too slow.

Re: Jahri Evans released
We do have someone better. His name is Andrus Peat. Don't think Strief can count on him being out of shape this time around. Like I said, Strief nearly got Brees killed. He was running for his life and Lord knows, Peat couldn't be any worse.

I give you the Charlie Brown experiment that lasted nearly an entire season before we said the hell with it and threw Armistead in there. Do I think that was because Chuck was dominating or better than Armistead, nope, I think that was to protect Armistead from getting discouraged if he struggled some. If Chuck Brown had not been so much worse than Strief I am not sure SP would have started Armistead at all his Rookie season. I think he was left with no choice. ![]()
We started to see Peat more and more as the year wore on. |
Your team stinks
