"There is a good possibility the Saints will move up to get Alex Smith." Otherwise... expect to see a veteran OT acquired, fred thomas traded along with howard, and safety be another definite draft target. |

I didn\'t ask for quote permissions from anyone, so I can\'t say where I got this from. But anyway, more rumors to add on to the pot.....
Likely free agent aquisitions: Tackle (yes, Riley is definitely gone) 1) RT McDougle (from Lions) Expect to see Spencer Folau kept on roster, in spite of that knee surgery, because he can play G or T, and Haz likes that LB 1) Kendrell Bell (injured a lot, but a stud with 4 yrs, not to mention he came from our favorite, Georgia) Trades Howard to Jacksonville for safety Darius and 2nd round pick Thomas to unknown team, for unknown compensation Sully to anyone that\'ll take him T-Buck? Maybe.... Boo is also probable trade bait.... Possible draft scenarios: Trade-ups: Derrick Johnson or Alex Smith Trade-downs: don\'t rule them out..... If we stay pat: 1st) Thomas Davis (\"hits like a truck\") 2nd) Corey Webster Draft errata: Expect a TE on day 1 (if the right one is there) if not, day 2 Boo had his chance and folded, but Hilton has good hands.... Sleeper QB\'s... David Greene (GA), Orlovsky (UCONN) Surprises: 1) a certain defensive end from LSU could be drafted at, you guessed it, OLB 2) if safeties are shored up via the Howard trade (and via the draft pick) AND if Thomas gets traded, then don\'t be surprised to see T-Buck as a backup S/CB (remember that T-Buck was originally drafted as a CB) That\'s all I can remember.... |
can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

heath miller is good but i would rather see a d guy go first round. miller will be gone by #40 fo sho, maybe even to carolina before #16. the only offensive players i wouldnt mind seeing picked first are barron, brown, or barnes at OT but it looks like they will fill that need with a veteran. i think we will get joe horn resigned but if no then a wr would be fine. i may not be ecstatic about moving up to get alex smith but i wouldnt be upset either. at second round i would love to see andrew walter last that long for the plucking.
