What signing? A visit doesn't guarantee he'll sign or even be offered a contract...

I would like this as a one year stop gap only. I like his tenacity and attitude and he is a good locker room player to teach young guys how it's done.

Nothing against James L but if you watched some of the Rams games last season, he played on one of the better D lines in all of football for 2015 yet managed to rank near the bottom of all LB's in the league. Not really fast, poor in coverage, bad in run defense.

"Teacher, good locker room guy, attitude" ... sounds eerily familiar to what we were praising #39 on last year. As some posters have already stated, there are better options out there in FA at the LB position.

Pass

He left without a contract and I hope that is the last we see of him.

The only good thing with him is he played all sixteen games last season. That would be nice to have. Other than that, I do think there are better options. I would actually like to use a early pick in the draft so we can have a young group of LBs.

I don't even like the idea of thinking about offering him a contract but he left without a deal so we won't be seeing him again unless he plays against the Saints

dude stays healthy. we run enough different packages to fit him in the lineup successfully somewhere. If he is cheap he would easily be one of the best defensive players we have. He is a leader and good locker room guy. Anthony and other young players can learn alot from him. I say go for it if we dont have to break the bank. The market wont be set until FA opens anyway so I wouldnt be surprised if they pass until then.
