IMO, it will be a BAD BAD mistake depending on Colby Bockwoldt this upcoming season. I don't care what his measurements are. I don't care how fast he is. I don't care how much potential some fans tells me he has. I do not feel good with Bockwoldt manning the WLB position. Give me a proven WLB in free-agency!! |

I don\'t feel that great about him either. I\'d love to get a proven OLB. Just as soon as we get a MLB, that is.. :P

Colby is a keeper. Not many people were sold on Zach Thomas when he was a 7th rounder and look what he is doing now.

Colby had almost as many tackles as Watson, and he played in fewer games.
Don\'t get me wrong, I\'m not sold. However, his special teams ability and blazing speed make him an excellent backup. I\'m sticking with my versatility argument and it seems to me that one LB spot isn\'t as important as the other two (since only to backers play in the nickle). Thus, if Colby is our third and plays mostly on running downs and base defesne, how much of a liability is he? I\'m not sure. |

Colby was great in stopping the run, but a liability in pass coverage. Be great as a backup.

I watched the guy a lot at BYU. I was thrilled we got him in the 7th. He will be better next year. Trust me, also keep an eye on BYU OG Scott Young. He\'s a stud and will be a mid-round selection.

Young. that was his name, the guy I couldn\'t remember that did 43 reps on the bench. What\'s the breakdown on his ability?

Scott Young came to BYU from the JUCO ranks as a DT. He was switched to G/C when he got here. Pretty good size, has a mean streak. Good pass blocker for a guard
