He\'s a DAMN good player, but what it would take to sign him would not be worth it

Cost a lot? Probably, but would this guy make T-Sucky a better player? Would he make out entire secondary better? Would it make the Saints D more attractive for a FA LB?
He\'s clearly not a cast off from the Pats because of attitude or ability. And he\'s probably not in too bad shape. |

We have two solid starters that cost relatively cheap. Would love to have the guy, but I would rather go get a stud tackle or linebacker for that type of money.

He would have a capnumber of somewhere in the area of 9 mil. Why didn\'t New England franchise him? We could use the money elsewhere

Yeah, he would have a huge salary cap number, because he would command a signing bonus over 12 million. He is a great player, but coming off an injury along with what it would take to get him?I say no

there is the biggest glut of cb\'s on the market in many years now. then there is a deep class coming in the draft. ty is great but he is still in a wheelchair right now. he isnt on the upside of age anymore either. i don\'t see them going after any high dollar cb after fakhir looked like he was coming around and the needs at safety, lb, and dt being greater.
