Edit: Loomis has a plan and it's effective. But it's more costly than the NE plan. I still believe Loomis is the man. He just makes the numbers work while Sean Payton calls the shots. |

Again, it's not arbitrary or subjective
Under the rules for compensatory draft selections, a team losing more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks. Comp picks are a facet of the parity system. If a team loses 3 FA's without signing any, they get 3 picks in compensation. |
