Bottom of the Barrel: Saints Off Season Moves Grade Poorly
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd give it a C-minus at this point in time. That's based mainly on what they failed to do instead of what they actually did. Getting Fleener (overpay), Fairley (1-year stop gap), and Lauranaitis could end up as good moves. ...

I'd give it a C-minus at this point in time. That's based mainly on what they failed to do instead of what they actually did. Getting Fleener (overpay), Fairley (1-year stop gap), and Lauranaitis could end up as good moves. But not addressing this team's most serious holes (DE, DT, Safety, OG) is a head scratcher. Loomis has crippled this franchise with a series of terrible FA signings, unwise extensions, and poor results in the draft. Leading the league in dead money is not a good thing. Let's hope we do better in the 2016 draft.
