If we ran a 3-4 I\'d love this guy.
But even with his 4.8/no coverage ability I\'d still be happy with him. At least he\'d bring attitude with him, and a chip on his shoulder from playing under Lewis\'s shadow for so long. But since he\'s a better fit for a 3-4, and we run a 4-3, I expect we\'ll sign him tomorow. |

i think if it is a do nothing/little free agency and the first two teams on the schedule run for 300 yds, it sounds like your optimistic zeal may take a new direction billy. i\'m not for bashing. it is just that the need of some of these moves look all too obvious to me. crunch time with the cap is really gonna kick in next season and the one after. it is a time to push and push hard now. a hartwell, trotter, or pierce (the best for the buck imo) would make a strong statement as an organization for winning. nothing would help the team in negotiations with the state more than that either. 32-32 with the last ranked D in the league and maintaining the status quo will have opposite results.
