Brees For Two First Rounders
great article about the idea of teams acquiring him-
http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports...2chargers.html Brian Billick quote leaped out at me... " When was the last time someone gave up two No. 1s for anything? That's a lot. There's a reason why it doesn't happen very often. Drew Brees has had a great year, and there are a lot of teams that would covet having him. But that's a hefty price to have to pay for him." ---i think the last time might have been in the 2003 draft. |

Brees For Two First Rounders
Yeah Kelley - you\'re right. To answer Billick\'s question - the New Orleans Saints gave up two first rounders for Jonathan Sullivan.
Two first round picks for Sullivan - OK! A First rounder, Brooks/Howard, and a 3rd for Brees - Nope! On second thought - Billy, are you sure you\'re not on the Saints staff. Sounds like Billy Brand logic to me! Kidding, kidding. |
