Saints have exercised S Kenny Vaccaro's 5th-year option

makes sense. all the other safeties so far are unable to stay out of the tub.

I really hope we draft safety hybrids.

He was second on the team last year in total tackles (104). First on the team in solo tackles(71), with 3 sacks... I say he had a pretty good season.

Although Harper had similar stats every year and he was called a "liability". Just sayin'

Vaccarro not worth that type of money. I wish we would have let him walk. Harper was a much better SS.

He pretty much has the same stats as Vaccaro last year for every season of his career. 2011 was the exception, Harper had 7.5 sacks; Williams had him blitzing and around the L.O.S. A LOT more...

Its worth the gamble. If he is good the contract will be extended easing the cap hit next year
