He looks to be a better route runner/receiver than Graham was... I'm interested in seeing if he's a better blocker...

Brees may make this cat a star.

Maybe we overpaid, maybe we we didn't.

He certainly is an exciting addition to the mad scientist's arsenal.

Re: Coby Fleener Highlights

He will do a fine job of replacing Watson. But we still need to give Payton another big body like the recently released Marques Colston(The Man) to use across the middle for the tough catches. And if we want to get back to '09 production we need another speedster like Meachem or Henderson to compliment Cooks and stretch the field leaving the field underneath open for Fleener and Colstons replacement.

Colstons replacement is already on the roster. Say Hi to the 6'6" 220 lbs. Brandon Coleman

They have physical similarities but run different routes. Colston was money across the middle on contested passes, while Coleman did most of his damage on the outside and in the seams up field. We still need that third big body to put on the field with Fleener. Houman is more of a blocking tight end and Josh Hill is a major disappointment to me(although we matched his offer).

We need to fill Colston's role or at least match his production.

I believe we operate best when we have speedsters to open up the middle for players like Colston . We only have one burner now and until we take coverage off the top our receivers will struggle underneath.
