this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I am a big Drew fan but I was a Saints fan first. Do whats best for the team. If what was said is true it means the Brees talks were stalled. If so, I beleive he was mentioned in ...

I am a big Drew fan but I was a Saints fan first. Do whats best for the team. If what was said is true it means the Brees talks were stalled. If so, I beleive he was mentioned in the trade. No reason to keep someone for 1 year when you can get a ton of picks for him. Now, if Drew is not going to be a Saint next year I would trade back in rd 1 and take Connor Cook.
