Did he really fail a physical for bills?

No. Where did you here that. I read they didn't have the cap space to match his demand. Jahri has learned what his real market value is by now.

I thought that was why the Bills didn't sign him and went back to incognito

Quite possibly all of them. I wanted Trae Turner last year. He went 4th round, and was pretty dominant as a rookie. Offensive line is a spot where lots of rookies can play right away if they are smart enough to learn the offense quickly. Evans is only going to get worse. It's time to upgrade. I can hardly believe you are passing off the idea of bringing Evans back as the reason they didn't take a guard. You didn't watch the same player the rest of us saw last year.

Name a better option right now. Evans was given the chance to sow his oats but nobody was willing to pay what he was demanding. You can't plug in a single rookie guard that can handle Payton's offense better than Evans at this point.

How the hell do you know that? I named all of the players I would have liked to see them draft. Evans knows the offense, but isn't near the player he once was. Should they bring Carl Nicks back, too? It's offensive line. Not QB.

If you're whole argument is based on experience, then you need to take back every positive thing you've said about the other draft picks whom you spent all day defending.

While Evans isn't the All-Pro guard he once was, he is still better than any rookie we could have picked up this year.

Oh, and for all of you that were thinking Evans failed a physical, wrong! The official announcement of his release came in the same announcement of Colston's release. It was Colston that failed the physical. I can't find ANY record of Evans failing a physical. There was a poster on the Bill's forum that confused the aforementioned announcement and posted that misinformation.

I wasn't one that said he failed a physical as I haven't tracked his off-season. I don't care. But you are flat out wrong that there are no rookies who could have been better. Evans isn't just diminished. He's not very good, period.

I've argued with you many times before, but this is maybe the most ridiculous one we've had. You have no possible way of knowing what any of these guards would have done, and also you have to reload before your whole team gets old. Ask the Patriots about that.

Nicks and Evans started as rookies. Lots of others across the league have done so, and will continue to. But you're just sure you know this won't be the year..... Sure.

A lot of what AG does is the old "****" sandwich technique anyone in management is well aware of. That is where you have your two slices of bread. One on the top, and one on the bottom. You start off your conversation with how creative a thinker they are. You close the sandwich with the bottom bread about how you really liked their recent idea. In the middle is where you place the truth, you spread that dirty thick "****" right into the middle of that sandwich. They know what kinf of sandwich they're getting of course, but you make the poop sandwich just a little more palatable. .
