I really like the seventh this year. while the first few rounds were lacking, I think 4 through 7 and even UDFA are really strong compared to the past few years. There is not a huge drop off.
Some solid depth talent with upside that can upgrade special teams is going to be out there. |

Re: 2016 Saints Draft Live Discussion Thread
Have you forgotten that Kikaha was rated as one of the best edge rushers coming out in last year's draft? He was never given the opportunity in Rob Ryan's defense. He will be given that chance this year. I honestly feel Kikaha is a better option than anyone that came out of the draft today.

Re: 2016 Saints Draft Live Discussion Thread
I just read the pages I missed when I had to leave earlier. Not much was said about the fact that Tampa traded to move up to grab a kicker in the 2nd round....lmmfao. I heard it on the radio but thought I heard wrong. Man o man..Danno would have had a coronary if we did that. So everyone crying about our draft picks, just be glad we didn't draft a kicker with our 2nd pick..LOL

But who says we are set even if he were consistent? Do you know defensive line is the most important area to have depth? Remember how many pass rushers the Giants had a few years back? That worked well for them. I think Kikaha fits well as a complimentary edge rusher. That was my thought from the get go with him. He just doesn't look like a starting defensive end. He excels at making plays on ball carriers in the open field and has great burst, but doesn't have many moves and is certainly not an edge setter. Don't ever think you have enough defensive linemen. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
