Re: 2016 Saints Draft Live Discussion Thread
Quite possibly all of them. I wanted Trae Turner last year. He went 4th round, and was pretty dominant as a rookie. Offensive line is a spot where lots of rookies can play right away if they are smart enough to learn the offense quickly. Evans is only going to get worse. It's time to upgrade. I can hardly believe you are passing off the idea of bringing Evans back as the reason they didn't take a guard. You didn't watch the same player the rest of us saw last year.

If you're whole argument is based on experience, then you need to take back every positive thing you've said about the other draft picks whom you spent all day defending. |

Oh, and for all of you that were thinking Evans failed a physical, wrong! The official announcement of his release came in the same announcement of Colston's release. It was Colston that failed the physical. I can't find ANY record of Evans failing a physical. There was a poster on the Bill's forum that confused the aforementioned announcement and posted that misinformation. |

I've argued with you many times before, but this is maybe the most ridiculous one we've had. You have no possible way of knowing what any of these guards would have done, and also you have to reload before your whole team gets old. Ask the Patriots about that. Nicks and Evans started as rookies. Lots of others across the league have done so, and will continue to. But you're just sure you know this won't be the year..... Sure. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
