I could live with it. Nick Fairley is the only 3-technique we currently have. Plus, Rankins played the 5-technique at Louisville so he brings versatility. It wouldn't ruin my night but I'd prefer to land an edge rusher.

Who is BPA between him, Lawson, Conklin, and Jackson? Since those will be the best DT, DE, OT, and CB available.

Rankins didn't flash until the Senior Bowl(s);he's only 6'; big guards will stack and pack his arse; it's going to be Sedrick Ellis all over again...

Shaq Lawson? Have a five tech in C. Jordan, we need more of a bigger end (3/4 T) opposite Cam to set that edge and contain, collapse the pocket; Lawson's too small to get it done...

Will Jackson, impressive cornerback; but they're others in the second, third round who probably need less than a season (So. Miss CB Kalan Reed); plus what we've got already...

Conklin represents the best value of the group, but Treadwell is the guy I want in Payton's offense - Jerry 2.0
