They will probably invest a high draft pick for the other end. If they swing a trade for Howard, they will have a great deal of money invested in their front four. I\'m thinking a Ware or Merriman would make there line the second best in the NFL, second only to Carolina\'s front four.

I\'d be very disappointed if we can\'t move Howard and sign a primetime free agent. Everyone is being snatched up pretty quick. Henry, Trotter, Ferguson, etc. are already gone. Hopefully we\'ll be able to do something soon before more are signed.

I wonder if Howard would be open to moving to DT. He does have the size. We\'d probably be top 3 in sacks next year if he were to consider this. Then we could sign a stud linebacker, Hartwell, and trade up for DJ. That would be pretty sick.

he couldn\'t get in the top 3 in Sacks at DE... he won\'t get more at DT... He is a DE best suited there, unfortunately he costs way to much now... and will have to move on.

Considering the fact that he was hurt and still managed to get 10 sacks and the fact that he rotates with Smith. Hmm.. did I say Howard was going to get top 3 in sacks or did it seem like I was talking about the defensive line in general? Hmm.. maybe you should read that over buddy.

On another note, maybe you didn\'t see Howard play defensive tackle during the season. He not only fared well, he got a couple of sacks playing there. If he put on 10 more pounds, at 6\'3 and close to 300 pounds, I\'m pretty sure he\'d thrive there alongside Smith and Grant.

Actually buddy you said \"We\'d\" which i would argue isn\'t a proper contraction. If you ment we would then you could be implying you and Howard would be be in the top 3 in sacks. Did that mean the team and fans would be in the top 3 in sacks. Did that mean Howard you and the waterboy in the top 3 in sacks. Are did you me Howard you and I in the top 3 in sacks. My point is you were not specific... Anyways, its not going to matter moving him to DT because he is about gone. He would be to much and expendable. I would love to keep him and play him at DE, Smith is more of a pure rusher and you can put him anywheres to rush the QB, give a LB a breather and put in Smith and when he is in ya know he is blitzing.

Wow I didn\'t realize I was back in college and in English class. I also didn\'t realize I was debating with a 4 year old. Please let\'s not disect grammar because obviously we also need to put your post through a spell check.

Well obviously now you know I mean teamwise and considering he played 13 games and had 10 sacks, I would think that would be more than adequate. Let\'s see who\'s willing to take on his 7 million plus salary and give us either a quality starter or high round draft pick. Not to mention with trading him, he would first want a contract extension. You really think someone is going to acquire him? Jacksonville wsa a prefect fit... Darius for Howard, but that\'s pretty much dead.

Actually, I\'m more of a run-stuffer at waterboy...
