Taking Baptiste over Landry was a BPA option????

Yes, a large number of WHODATS watch the TIGERS. In most cases, it's LSU 1st, Saints 2nd. I will admit, I fall into that crowd. Anyway, SP and Mickey have passed on some really good talent. Yes, there are bust players that come out of LSU, but not many. I still don't like the fact that we passed on Tunsil. O-Line woes have been preached about and preached about here and we let the best Tackle pass. That's JMO.

We let too many Good LSU products pass by to other teams. I'm sorry, but SEC players are more physically capable to start in the NFL, then any other conference.

Heck no. DH played a solid 9 years (all but one in New Orleans), was able to take the lid off defenses and open up things underneath. Oh, and per historical stats data (yeah I looked it up) he had the highest per yard catch average TWICE & finished 2nd in Saints history. Dude even had a nice Super Bowl ... 7 catches for 61 yards.

No way we would have won a Championship without Devery on this team.

And in my opinion Devery Henderson was the best downfield blocker of all the WRs on the team when he played for the Saints.

Yes sir. But without a top 10 pick (which I don't want, unless it comes by trade) we probably won't even come close to him.

I think the OP meant guys coming straight out of college (LSU).

We picked up Delvin from the CFL and Lewis was acquired from Pittsburgh.

Don't forget the little known "Gone but not forgotten" clause John Mecom put in about drafting local talent. It's in the same section that stated all of Rich Mauti's kids had to be signed!
