Drew is better than Luck and will be over the next 3 or 4 years. Keep Drew if at all possible. Give the man his 25 million a yr.

If we lose Drew in free agency next year does that mean we get a comp pick?
I believe that Colston was a 7th round comp pick.iirc We don't get too many of them thanks to the way Mickeys system works. Don't get me wrong In my heart I believe Drew will retire a Saint........and Tom Condon will pocket some nice change. But this franchise lives and breathes by Drew Brees and Sean Payton won't let Drew leave New Orleans. It truly is a win/win to sign a reasonable(ish) contract. |
