LSU dominates a best of NFL under 25 years old team

To be honest 25 is just a number it means nothing
How many national championship or superbowl rings they got betweem them? By my quick count CJ Mosley has 2 more than them |

Yeah I agree Lee. Too bad "the Hat" (Les Miles) wasn't able to close the deal with all of that talent in Baton Rouge. I still believe the guy is more lucky than good.
What do I know. |

Unfortunately, he is very unlucky in being the second best coach in the SEC. Like Saban or not, you have to admit that he is probably the best coach that college football has ever seen. If not for Saban Miles would probably have a few more rings. (BTW-if it was all about luck, you would think Miles would luck out and get a QB that was worth a damn ever few years.) |

1953,
Listen - I like the hat. Looking back, he was a SOLID hire and he's had a great run. There are a ton of good Purple and Gold memories associated with him. Moreover, the quickest way to get to where every Tiger fan wants to geaux is for Les to adapt his football philosophy. But he refuses. It's just that his football philosophy is fundamental flawed and he refuses to change. I remember Jeff Duncan was once quoted as saying LSU's old-fashioned offense works against the Western Kentuckys of the world... but not against SEC West rivals. I tend to agree. |

Re: LSU dominates a best of NFL under 25 years old team
The way I always looked at it, why would a QB that had thoughts about becoming an NFL QB ever want to go to LSU? Supposedly this year will be different but until we see it happen we always just run the ball. What good QB wants to go to a school that runs the ball 80% of the time?

Re: LSU dominates a best of NFL under 25 years old team
What amazes me is the talent LSU has had at WR, but you've got Miles going with the wishbone "athlete" at quarterback instead of the pocket passer, and yet WRs still sign with the Tigers?!?
Tigers win a National Title with MVP Matt Flynn and still are trying to run an offense with an "athlete"; that just shows that Miles is stubborn to the point of stupidity; the man can recruit, but he's stupid when it comes to the game; reminds me of former Tulane/Texas Head Coach Mack Brown... With the talent in the fertile recruiting area of the Louisiana/Mississippi delta, LSU should average a national title in Baton Rouge every four years... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
