The New Orleans Saints have stocked up on cornerbacks and have only three quarterbacks on their 90-man roster as they enter the first week of organized team activities.

But otherwise, the team's roster composition -- and the way it was built -- isn't dramatically different from a year ago.



The biggest difference is in the secondary. The Saints currently have 18 defensive backs, up from 16 a year ago, and 11 cornerbacks, up from nine in 2015.

With OTA's & training camp right around the corner, I'm glad the secondary (specifically corner back position) is getting crowded. The way the NFL is becoming primarily a passing league & teams spending 60-65% of their snaps in the nickle, we really need 3 starting corners.

Side note - solid rotation in the trenches will be paramount as well. The big guys need to be fresh in the 4th quarter.
