I think RT will eventually be his position. I don't think a season at RG will stunt his growth.

Besides, with a new O-line coach Peat might even surpass Strief in training camp/pre-season and end up starting at RT.

If we place our top five linemen on the field at the same time Strif and Peat will both be playing. Good Lord, I still have hope that we will trade for a guard.

I agree but LT. Who knows at what level he could play LT. He did really well from the snaps he got there. And he might beat Strief out at RT but I don't see it this year, RG I think he can do his best(other than LT) this season. Strief on one side and Unger on the other seems more likely. I'm hoping we find a diamond with the UDFA. Training camp hopefully gets interesting

I wonder if everyone would still be saying that if we'd used 3 mid-round picks on the OG's we acquired as UDFA's. We signed 3 OG's that were projected to be drafted in the mid-late rounds.

And of course there will always be veterans with a year or two left in the tank that will be cut before the season starts.

I hope he's a good fit at RG. RT seems like an easier spot to fill if Strief struggles and we need to pick someone up.
