Brandon Browner scoffs at “weak” Saints for paying him millions
 

Brandon Browner spent a year with the Saints last season, didn’t play particularly well, and was cut this year. His total take from the Saints will be $7.75 million for that one bad season.

Now back with the Seahawks, Browner is having some fun with Saints fans who weren’t happy with his performance.

According to Nola.com, Browner responded to a critical comment from a Saints fan on Instagram by posting a response calling the Saints “weak.” Browner also wrote that he “took that few millions [and] ran with it.”

So he's admitting that he's a terrible player and we overpaid for him, I'd agree with that.

Sadly our team's culture has gone downhill and now we're paying a guy to go away who one year ago we paid to be a leader and an enforcer. Something just doesn't seem right these days in our organization.

Idk. Seems like every player who has left lately has had something to say about the Saints being a train wreck and that they are glad they got cut or left. We have cut tons of players in the past who never had anything bad to say about the organization. Up until the past few years.

Yep. There certainly seems to be something toxic in the organization and it isn't the Junior Galette's and Brandon Browner's of the world. Not defending their actions... Just saying that things have gotten strange.

I think it has a lot to do with Rob Ryan and he wanting to be a players coach... Browner got away with everything, until Allen became the coordinator and made him accountable

Browner - worst rated defensive back in the NFL last year.

Junior Galette - multiple run ins with the law and a total psycho.

Jimmy Graham - one dimensional player that had turned into a diva.

But, for the most part, players that have had to move on from the Saints recently have had great things to say about the franchise.

Yup, and they've all been from the defensive side - rob ryan, g3, jr and now browner. It's almost like that unit has no respect for the rest of the organization.

Word of advice to Rams rookie QB Goff - if you want 400 yards and 2 easy wins, target Browner's man/zone if the Seahawks are stupid enough to suit him up.

how can a pre madonna like browner dare insult our org. he was the sole owner of 6 losses and poison that kept us from playoff contention. what a hypocrite. thats blood money he took from the saints. he killed any chance of a successful season. dammed moron.

Thats the odd part Chris. Everyone knew he was a holding machine and to be honest if he'd have gotten away with the holds here like he did in Seattle he would have been a much better player for us.

But by nearly all accounts he was supposed to be a great leader on and off the field and locker-room culture standout. That was a big swing and a miss.

Yea the Saints were robbed. I think he played badly on purpose. I really believe that you can have someone disrupting a team effort because he did not like either the coaches or fellow players. I think the team should have benched him early in the season the team was going to lose that money anyone. I feel bad that we lost a chance to get someone to play for us for all that money that wanted to be here. In one year he stole enough money to retire which most of us will never see.

I still don't have a clue as to why they continued to allow him to yell at coaches all up in their face like he did. The whole team saw it. No wonder nobody on D had any respect for the game or coaching.
