New Orleans Saints' Obum Gwacham looks to be a confident fill-in for injured Hau'oli Kikaha
The New Orleans Saints might already have a confident fill-in for the injured Hau'oli Kikaha, whose reportedly torn anterior cruciate ligament will likely put him out for the season.
Obum Gwacham, a second-year defensive end the Saints claimed off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks after last preseason, played in Kikaha's place during an organized team activity session open to media Thursday. Gwacham, Edibali and Tull should all get playing time in sub packages. I see Gwacham getting most of the reps and Edibali starting as the primary backup but Tull may very well give him a run for the money. Losing Kikaha hurt us definitely but we have been restocking the shelves lately, so let's see what we've got coming off the bench. Fingers crossed.
