Terron Armstead strives for more after Saints issue lucrative contract

Paychecks typically follow Pro Bowls. Not the other way around.

The New Orleans Saints made an exception with left tackle Terron Armstead earlier this offseason.

Rather than flirt with any possibility of a franchise tag or free agency, Armstead inked a five-year extension with the Saints worth a maximum of $65 million. The Saints made Armstead the second highest-paid offensive lineman in the league on average.

If Peat is ready this year and one of our guards develops and plays above average we could have a pretty decent front line.
