3 shares Watch: Scott Shanle speaks in video played at Will Smith awards banquet
Organizers of a high school sports banquet founded by the late Will Smith in Utica, N.Y., held the annual event Thursday as a way to remember the former New Orleans Saints player, the Utica Observer-Dispatch reported.
The event included a two-minute video tribute from former Saints teammate Scott Shanle. That video is at the top of this post. "He'll hold a special place in all of our hearts for just getting to know him," Shanle said in the video. "We would not have accomplished the things we accomplished in New Orleans, we would not have won a Super Bowl, without No. 91," he added.
