I'm one of the optimistic ones, but I feel pass rush is not really that big a flag.

I think Edibali and Gwachum can get it done...

Re: Saints 5 Biggest Red Flags Heading Into 2016

Disagree. Strongly...

Right side of the line?
Doubt it. We have a young star in waiting.

Pass rush?
We just need more pressure, not necessarily sacks. We are better up front than last year.

Kicker?
If we can't convert 3rd downs again, kickers won't matter.

Back up QB?
Name me an NFL team who thinks they're better with their backup starting.

Injuries?
OK... How about also blaming "weather"? Nope, can't control that either.

If those are our biggest red flags, then we're winning the superbowl

A whole lot of questions to answered for sure. Injury forced a few and the usual roll of the dice gamble on players as usual.

add DA into the mix and it is all pins and needles

talk to me week 12.

PASS RUSH without it we will be an also ran . Injury to our 2 nd rd sophomore DE hurts. Our DL should be better. Generation of a rush is Dennis Allen biggest challenge . Improvements on secondary helps . Lack of pressure on opposition QBs was the biggest reason for our lack of success on defense last year. Some one must step up to fill this deficiency or our defense will not succeed. I am optimistic about the additions on defense . Gotta get to the QB some how some way.

Yeah, I mean I love all of the sunshine and rainbows above, an I certainly am optimistic, but we have some real questions.

I really do think we finally have the right guys to make a really strong team. Tull could surprise, really like gwacham. The LB's we added seem to have some skills and like our safety situation. I think our secondary is much better than it has been since the injury to Greer.

Certainly worried about Strief, he was on his last leg last season. Hopefully get one more good year from him.

Article was spot on with the concern areas, but hope that we have addressed them and some of our question marks turn in really good efforts.

We are inching very close to being a real good team.
