When the New Orleans Saints arrive for the start of their 2016 Training Camp in just a little over a month from now, there will be several positions on their current roster that will undergo heavy competition for not just only starting roles, but spots on the Final 53-man Roster in early September as well.

Now although it’s still VERY early in the process of evaluating who will eventually emerge as the players who will man those spots, it’s fairly evident by the recently completed OTA’s and Mini-Camp, as to just who those individuals should be.

Robertson could replace Ellerbe at some point in the line up and never look back. Don't get me wrong. I like Ellerbe a lot but I like results more.

Robertson is an ascending player whose skills may have actually caught up with Ellerbe. It may not be Ellerbe's health that costs him his job. It may just be that Robertson has simply surpassed him.
