Woohoo, found air into Dulles nonstop, around same price. Timmys gonna be driving! I have a second room that I have not cancelled since Gail was going with us and now is not.

I heard on WWL radio that they were going to "open" training camp in Metairie.

This is a tragedy, for real. 25 dead, who knows how many lives affected, by the destruction. In the big picture, this is a tragedy, foremost, and Im saddened to hear it.

I was an outspoken non-fan of greenbriar training camp, being of the "TC should be in the Southern heat," school of thought, but I hate to hear of recent events. prayers for those people.

Can the community infrastructure there actually afford the manpower to support the team while they're digging out?

I'm sure the portion of the community that were to have jobs supporting the training camp stay would much rather have the Saints come there instead of going without income. The manpower being used for flood recovery would not overlap much with a hospitality based workforce. Loosing the training camp would have been an extra blow to the community.

Understand they could use the economic infusion...

But you gotta think that police and first responder services are stretched thin right now...

And factor the air quality after a flooding of that extreme...

Those are not very big communities to begin with, so you know those services are limited before you factor in flood recovery AND the training camp and the circus it'll bring comes to town...
