Re: Mark Ingram 2015 Highlights
And only 26.
I know I'm in the minority here but I have been a big fan of Mark ever since he was selected by the Saints. Works hard, studies & prepares. A much improved player with plenty to prove (especially his ability to catch out of the backfield). Mr. Ingram has become a multi dimensional back. Lynch mob ... flame away . |

At 26 he is the running back we can depend on for many years. |

Re: Mark Ingram 2015 Highlights
Ingram has come a long way...
It really started when he trimmed down and put in a solid off-season, which just happen to coincide with him getting his #22 back. I am pulling for the guy, hope he stays healthy. If he can stay healthy we need to ride him all season, enough of the RBBC stuff because we have a workhorse that needs to get into rhythm. If Mark can't stay healthy I know Hightower will perform. I have no faith in Spiller, he should have been cut. Lasco will be interesting to watch, if he can turn heads in the pre-season he'll get his chance to replace Spiller as the scat-back. |

Re: Mark Ingram 2015 Highlights
There isn't much difference between 2015 Ingram and his first several seasons in the league other than he he isn't surrounded by 3 defenders 3 yards behind the LOS anymore.
Some of ya'll act like the light bulb just turned on for him. |

Re: Mark Ingram 2015 Highlights
Light bulb coming on... not really, but him developing and having better training camps, absolutely. Like I said, he has come a long way.
"I'm the same guy, I'm the same athlete but I'm just healthier now," said Ingram. "I'm more confident in the offense and what I have to do. I've grown so much in my first two years in the league and I think that two years of experience will help me a lot this year and throughout my career to keep getting better as a player and I'm healthy so that has a lot to do with it. I'm feeling good, feeling strong, running fast, toned up a little bit and I'm feeling good. I just want to have a big season and help my team win games." Re: Mark Ingram 2015 Highlights
I was hoping we could get him but hindsight I would probably never want a RB in the 1st round ever again. It's the one position that is flooded with good talent every single year. Glad we have him but it was a steep price.

Re: Mark Ingram 2015 Highlights
The key is his age, running backs don't have a long shelf life. He works within our system which can be difficult and complex. Also I don't think you can question his integrity.

Re: Mark Ingram 2015 Highlights
Ingram and Hightower make a pretty good combo. If the front line looks good our entire O should be great. I look for Thomas to have a huge rookie season. We got fire power on the O.
