Travaris Cadet welcomes Saints running back competition
Travaris Cadet has been in this position before.
Primed for training camp, ready for a battle on a New Orleans Saints roster loaded with talented running backs. Every other back on the roster — Mark Ingram, Tim Hightower, C.J. Spiller, Marcus Murphy and Daniel Lasco — required a key investment from the Saints, whether it was a free-agent contract or a draft pick. Re: Travaris Cadet welcomes Saints running back competition
TC looked absolutely brilliant in short spurts at the end of last season.
I'm more excited to see him than Spiller. |
Re: Travaris Cadet welcomes Saints running back competition
I think Cadet has hit his wall. He looked impressive when he came back last year but I'm not banking on him following up on that performance. But I am banking on Lasco looking really good in training camp......really really good. I wonder if Payton will IR him to keep Cadet? God, I hope not.

Lasco has a decent skill set. A one year wonder in college and hampered by injuries, but intriguing nonetheless.
Cadet to me seems more refined since leaving N.O. Camp will tell. |
Re: Travaris Cadet welcomes Saints running back competition
Marcus Murphy Vs Daniel Lasco is the first key battle to watch.
Cadet Vs the winner is next |
