Re: Saints Sign Hakeem Nicks
Boom if he makes the team. No big whup if he doesn't. Personally don't think he will.

I'd argue that Seantavius Jones looked pretty good for a back end receiver for us and he's not on this roster... The "catching" thing is kinda big deal, especially with this offense... The veteran presence (Hicks) is more to help the back-end receivers get up to speed without taxing Cooks and Snead continued development with that extra burden... |
Re: Saints Sign Hakeem Nicks
For what its worth... Bobby mentioned that Coleman still isn't aggressively using his size like he should and fight for balls.

I just don't see what Nicks can bring to the table.

Times running out for him, Nicks, Kyle Prater and RJ harris are playing better than him at this point. |
Re: Saints Sign Hakeem Nicks
Hakeem Nicks? after careful self debate.
The HUGE questions? deteriorating body? counterproductive attitude? Brief recent history Titans Cut Hakeem Nicks unproductive year in Indianapolis? Resigned with the Giants and was not wanted back at all. No one went after him in FA till the saints buckled See whining and begging does pay off Lets be optimistic Heck he is a former former No. 1 and had some solid seasons. early on with the giants. May getting rejected by the NFL and begging for work could be the wake up call he needs. 5 to 1 this is his last shot |
Re: Saints Sign Hakeem Nicks
Come on COLEMAN step it up.

Similarly at times Coleman looks like a solid keeper, and others not so much. I think the PS games will determine if he's a keeper more so than just camp performance |
