Wishing For Turnovers This Christmas Season
I like Payton's comment about how, "You can talk about it. You can wish for it to happen. But it's actually DOING it" that will breed more success.
Mark my words, if turnovers happen early this year, it'll be a great year. It's a matter of confidence for these young guys. You stress in line for 2 hours before riding your first roller coaster and suddenly you can't get back on one fast enough! To reference from an earlier post, I agree wholeheartedly that it relies HEAVILY on pressure. An NFL QB doesn't readily turn the ball over (Sanchez not withstanding), you have to FORCE them into it. Pressure --> jacked up timing --> poor decision --> alert, expectant defender --> turnover --> repeat |
