Sharper sharper?
Darren Sharper is due a $2.6 million roster bonus March 12. Combined with his $3.4 million base salary, the Packers are in line to pay more than they can handle for the veteran safety and have placed Sharper on the trade block, assuming his contract can't be renegotiated.
------- sounds like they may be happy to get anything for him. A tough hitter go sho. Mike Mc could give them the first hand perspective of if he is da man. ****** Jamie Sharper, 30, the Texan's leading tackler each of the last two seasons, is scheduled to count $6.13 million against the salary cap in 2005 and has been given permission to seek a trade. --------- another situation of a good guy that could be had for cheap. houston needs a power rusher too so perhaps darren howard in the equation could work. sharper and a 2nd or 3rd? ****** it would make the defensive calls easy if we got them both too. 4/11ths of the hits would be from smith or sharper, hehe. |
